Definition of Awards

The first three awards are, discussed by and voted on, by all coaches that are on staff for the season.

Wrestler of the Year - wrestler who had the best year, all wrestling is taken into account

Most Improved - 2nd or 3rd year wrestler that has improved the most from the previous season

Rookie of the Year - the best 1st year wrestler

Coaches Award - voted on solely by Coach Bobby.  This is the wrestler I feel, demonstrates the very best in what an athlete and teammate should be.

Most Dedicated - voted on by Coach Bobby and Erica to the family who puts in the work over the years.  All parts of the family  need to exist for this award; a quality wrestler who works hard, comes to practice, helps out with other wrestlers, leads by example; parents that go above and beyond what is asked of them, they help out at matches and tournaments and with any other little things that pop up during the season.  A quality program can't exist without people that put in the time to help and this is designed to recognize those people a little more.
